  • High-tensile Galvanised Wire
  • This is used in the stitching of thin metals, plastics, fabrics, wood and board

  • Stainless Steel Wires
  • Stainless Steel Wires together with nickel alloys and other custom wires are used predominantly where corrosion is a particular hazard such as the marine, food hygiene and automotive industries. For available grades and standards, click here.

  • Bag Closure Wire
  • This is wire of the highest quality, available in diameters 1.83mm, 1.59mm, 1.37mm and 1.2mm (15-18 gauge). It is a lower tensile wire and is commonly used for closing bags of produce (e.g. potatoes or apples) and ice.

  • Tag Wire
  • This is wire of the highest quality, available in diameters 0.80mm, 0.64mm, 0.45mm and 0.35mm (21, 23, 26 and 30 gauge). These dead soft wires are available on 18kg spools.

  • Spring Wire
  • This wire is patented, hard-drawn, surface-coated (coppered, brass-coated or galvanised), oil-tempered and available in plain carbon and alloy steels (CrSi, CrV, CrSiV). It is used for applications in the automotive industry (such as clutch and engine valve springs and oil seal springs), ski bindings, cutting wire, armouring wire and music strings.

  • Shaped Wire
  • This wire is rolled or drawn coated or uncoated (coppered, brass-coated or galvanised), oil-tempered and available in plain carbon and alloyed steels (CrSi, CrV, CrSiV). It is used for applications such as Bowden cables, furniture fittings, Archimedean screws, circlips, piston rings and die springs.

  • Welding Wire (MIG/MAG wire)
  • Unalloyed and alloyed welding wire is available.

  • Broom, Mop and Brush Wire
  • These wires are available in a wide variety of forms including galvanised high and low carbon, stainless steel, nickel silver, brass-coated, regular-tempered, untempered steel, high fatigue and annealed wires.
